BCL-2 is an antiapoptotic molecule that is being overexpressed in several myeloid diseases such as acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), but also in several lymphoid cancers such as acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), non-Hodgkin lymphomas, and multiple myeloma (MM) [2–6]. This evidence concerns the gene BCL2 and non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
