High expression of LIN2 in pancreatic adenocarcinoma cell lines was strongly related to poor prognosis in patients with pancreatic adenocarcinoma, whereas in cholangiocarcinoma, LIN2‐negative expression was associated with significantly decreased survival and prognosis compared to LIN2‐expression‐positive patients [90, 91]. The gene discussed is CASK; the disease is cholangiocarcinoma.
