Hypoxia‐inducible factor‐prolyl hydroxylase (HIF‐PHD) inhibitors alleviated renal fibrosis through reduced phosphorylation of p38MAPK in ILC2s; thus, M2 polarisation followed by IL‐4/IL‐5/IL‐13 production was decreased, suggesting the pathogenesis role of ILC2/cytokines/M2 in renal fibrosis [82]. This evidence concerns the gene IL4 and renal fibrosis.
