CD8A and uveitis: After reducing the gut microbiome load with antibiotics in advance, IRT-5 probiotics (Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus reuteri, Bifidobacterium bifidum, and Streptococcus thermophilus) supplementation on the day of immunization in EAU mice alleviated the severity of uveitis and significantly inhibited the expansion of CD8+T cells in cervical lymph nodes (CLN) (113).
