Reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and western blotting showed that SHCBP1 mRNA and protein levels were elevated in breast cancer cell lines compared with the normal breast epithelial cell line, MCF10A, with TNBC cell lines (MDA-MB-231, BT-20, and BT-549) exhibiting even higher levels (Figures 5A, B). Here, SHCBP1 is linked to breast cancer.
