Important differences included a higher proportion of patients undergoing PCI in the BB group in both LVEF strata, a higher proportion of patients with STEMI and out-of-hospital cardiac arrest in the BB group in patients with LVEF > 40%, and a higher proportion of patients treated with aspirin and angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor therapy in the BB group in patients with LVEF ≤ 40%. Here, ACE is linked to cardiac arrest.
