While blood-abundant GNLY+CD8+ TEM, CD56dim NK, and adaptive-like NK cells exhibited a classic cytotoxic phenotype in the CSF of TBM patients, GZMK+CD8+ TEM and CD56bright NK cells showed low cytotoxic potential and enriched activity of cytokine-mediated signaling pathways. The gene discussed is GZMK; the disease is meningeal tuberculosis.
