Due to the increased presence of mature NK cells in the spleens (CD11b+ of NK1.1+) and liver (CD11b+ of CD49b+ CD49a− NK1.1+) of PEP-R619W mice post-infection (Fig. S3E, Fig. 3E–G), we examined if PEP-R619W NK cells had differential maturation states compared to PEP-WT at homeostasis.
