The ROC analysis demonstrated that a cut‐off value of hepcidin > 26.6 ng/mL provided a sensitivity of 80% and a specificity of 66.7% for predicting recurrence, with an AUC of 0.819 (p = 0.001), indicating a robust predictive capability of hepcidin levels for disease recurrence in breast cancer patients. This evidence concerns the gene HAMP and breast cancer.
