We examined the main indicators of the ferroptosis process to verify whether NCOA4 could affect cholangiocarcinoma cell growth through the ferroptosis mechanism. After NCOA4 knockdown, Fe2+, MDA and ROS expression levels were reduced in RBE and HCCC-9810 cells (Fig 5A-5C).In addition, increased GSH expression levels (Fig 5D).These findings suggest that the inhibition of NCOA4 inhibits the onset of ferroptosis in CCA cells. This evidence concerns the gene NCOA4 and cholangiocarcinoma.
