Consistent with these literatures, the current study demonstrated that BAG5 knockout suppressed proliferation and invasion of NSCLC, simultaneously resulted in increased mitochondrial fusion, as evidenced by BAG5 knockout increased mitochondria with elongated morphology, as well as increased mitochondrial fusion gene MFN2 expression, while decreased mitochondrial fission gene DRP1expression. The gene discussed is BAG5; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
