Consistent with these literatures, the current study demonstrated that BAG5 knockout suppressed proliferation and invasion of NSCLC, simultaneously resulted in increased mitochondrial fusion, as evidenced by BAG5 knockout increased mitochondria with elongated morphology, as well as increased mitochondrial fusion gene MFN2 expression, while decreased mitochondrial fission gene DRP1expression. This evidence concerns the gene MFN2 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
