ALB and lymphopenia: Here, a comparison occurred between 88 cases in group C and 111 patients in groups A and B. The univariate analysis revealed that group C had significantly higher rates of older age (p = 0.04), history of smoking (p = 0.02), low serum Alb levels (p = 0.04), presence of chest and abdominal disease (p = 0.004), and lymphopenia (p = 0.006) compared to groups A and B (Table 3).
