Metabolism and epigenetics and immune regulation play a key role in tumorigenesis, progression and treatment resistance (15, 16), the bidirectional regulatory mechanism between metabolism and epigenetics was verified in cell lines (SETD2 knockdown renal cancer cells) and mouse models (Kras mutated pancreatic cancer mice), which enabled us to have a more comprehensive understanding of their complex interactions and regulatory networks. The gene discussed is KRAS; the disease is pancreatic neoplasm.
