The multivariate Cox regression analysis indicated that both non-papillary subtype and high NF-κB p65 levels were independent poor prognostic factors of CCA patients (Table 2, HR = 1.597; 95% CI [1.028–2.480], p = 0.037; HR = 1.679; 95% CI [1.074–2.626], p = 0.023). This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and cholangiocarcinoma.
