Chronic inflammation and immune dysregulation driven by IRS have been implicated in the pathogenesis of colorectal, breast, pancreatic, and liver cancers, with underlying mechanisms involving aberrant insulin/IGF‐1 signaling and sustained activation of proinflammatory pathways such as PI3K/Akt/mTOR and NF‐κB. Here, NFKB1 is linked to liver cancer.
