Research suggested that Thyroid hormones (TH), especially triodothyronine (T3), can be considered as a marker for survival in patients with kidney disease [27].Our study also suggested that FT3 had a protective effect on all-cause mortality among individuals with CKD, which was consistent with the idea that FT3 had a protective effect on renal function [28, 29]. The gene discussed is TH; the disease is chronic kidney disease.
