Therefore, although some findings were not statistically significant, our results, for the first time, highlighted that CB2 and TRPV1 stimulation exerted direct anti-inflammatory effects, by modulating both the release of inflammatory cytokines and macrophage polarization, and an indirect anti-inflammatory property, by determining changes in components involved in iron metabolism in SCD macrophages.
