CRP was increased in depression patients (2.55 ± 4.31 vs. 3.65 ± 5.42mg/L; p<0.001), and even higher in DM patients with depression compared with DM patients without depression (3.40 ± 5.08 vs. 4.70 ± 5.95mg/L; p<0.001). This evidence concerns the gene CRP and depressive disorder.
