When the latter was removed, we discovered a statistically significant association between the SNP Arg72Pro of the TP53 gene and bladder cancer occurrence: C vs. G (OR = 1.22, 95% CI [1.05; 1.40]), CC vs. GG (OR = 1.54; 95% CI [1.13; 2.09]), CC+CG vs. GG (OR = 1.24; 95% CI [1.01; 1.53]), CC vs. CG+GG (OR= 1.33 ; 95% CI [1.01 ; 1.74]). Here, TP53 is linked to urinary bladder cancer.
