The top indications for which sNPWT was used in hospitals/institutions were: “patients with skin or cutaneous blood flow diseases and disorders that delay wound healing” (36%, n=18) and “patients with diabetes using insulin” (36%, n=18), even though the NHI determines reimbursement eligibility using hemoglobin A1c (HbA1C) count rather than insulin use.
