Since the first published study in 2013 about oral cancer [22], many of them show that a stronger expression of POFUT1 exists in breast cancer [23, 24], lung cancer [25], esophageal cancer [26, 27], pancreatic cancer [28], gastric cancer [29, 30], colorectal cancer [31–33], head and neck squamous cell carcinoma [34], hepatocellular carcinoma [35, 36], salivary gland carcinoma [37], and glioblastoma [38–40]. This evidence concerns the gene POFUT1 and glioblastoma.
