To assess the relationship between NUAK2 expression and overall survival in human gliomas, we analyzed TCGA and CGGA datasets comparing patients with high expression of NUAK2 versus patients expressing low levels of NUAK2. Analysis of overall patient 50% survival rates revealed that elevated NUAK2 levels are strongly associated with reduced survival rates in the CGGA (Fig. 1E). This evidence concerns the gene NUAK2 and central nervous system cancer.
