The advent of multiple new alternative treatments for AD over the past 3 years, such as anti-IL-13 agents (Tralokinumab, Lebrikizumab [50▪]), anti-IL-31 (Nemolizumab [51]) and Janus kinase inhibitors (JAKi; abrocitinib, baricitinib, Upadacitinib [52]) may have reduced the threshold to stop dupilumab therapy compared to that in the clinical trials in 2016.
