In CRC patients receiving adjuvant chemotherapy with oxaliplatin, the study revealed an important stratification effect: in KRAS exon 2 wild-type patients, high SLFN11 expression (the final score (0–6) was calculated from the ratio and staining intensity, and a score >4.5 was defined as high expression) was closely associated with significantly prolonged overall survival (OS), indicating a good prognosis; however, in KRAS exon 2 mutant patients, SLFN11 expression levels were not significantly correlated with OS (18). Here, KRAS is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
