The recent development of humanized monoclonal antibodies targeting IL-5 or IL-5 receptor (IL-5R) marked a significant breakthrough in the treatment of EGPA, revolutionizing its management and achieving disease control while progressively reducing OCS intake, as shown in both phase III trials (6, 7) and real-life settings (8, 9). Here, IL5 is linked to eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis.
