CD8A and Sepsis: Immune infiltration analysis showed distinct infiltration levels in the sepsis group compared with the control group, which included increased plasma cells, activated natural killer (NK) cells, M0 macrophages, eosinophils, CD8 T-cells, M1 macrophages, M2 macrophages, naive B cells, resting memory CD4 T-cells, naive CD4 T-cells, activated memory CD4 T-cells, gamma delta T cells, activated dendritic cells, neutrophils, and memory B cells in the sepsis group (Figure 8A).
