To systematically verify the necessity of the oxytocin system in the improvement of autism-like behavior by 10 Hz-pMSS, this test applied a dual pharmacological intervention strategy: the oxytocin receptor antagonist L-372662 was locally delivered to the mPFC of ASD mice through stereotaxic injection, and the function of oxytocin receptors throughout the brain was inhibited by intracerebroventricular administration. This evidence concerns the gene OXTR and autism.
