The analysis of baseline data of glioma patients based on TCGA database (Table 2) showed that the expression level of LOXL2 was significantly correlated with clinicopathological characteristics: patients in the high LOXL2 expression group were significantly older (51.7 ± 15.8 years vs 42.5 ± 13.3 years, p<0.001); There was no significant difference in gender distribution between groups (p=0.449). This evidence concerns the gene LOXL2 and central nervous system cancer.
