Lumasiran (Oxlumo) and nedosiran (Rivfloza) are two siRNA drugs, approved by the FDA and the EMA, which are administered to subjects with primary hyperoxaluria type 1 (PH1) who have a deficiency in hepatic alanine glyoxylate aminotransferase (AGXT) enzyme and, consequently, high levels of oxalate production [28].
