When initiated at the peak of AKI severity, FMD significantly reduced the recruitment of total immune cells (CD45+) to the kidney (Figures S9A and S9B), including the absolute numbers and percentages of myeloid cells (CD45+CD11b+) (Figures S9C and S9D) and monocytes (CD45+CD11b+Ly6G−) (Figures S9E and S9F) infiltrating the kidney 35 days after the onset of pathology. The gene discussed is PTPRC; the disease is acute kidney injury.
