Thus, we assessed the influence of these proteins on SPP1 modulation in PCa and observed that SPP1 levels were significantly higher in PC3 cells cultured on plates coated with type I collagen (P = 0.0041) (Fig. 2Hi), fibronectin (P = 0.0076) (Fig. 2Hii) or type I collagen and fibronectin together (P = 0.0331) (Fig. 2Hiii), compared with control (uncoated), evidencing the regulatory effect of Fn1 and Col1a1 on SPP1 expression. Here, FN1 is linked to posterior cortical atrophy.
