The risk factors of MDA5+ DM-ILD mortality were pooled and analyzed, including age (1, 3, 4, 9, 19–23), male (1, 7, 9, 22, 24), smoking (2, 19, 22), fever (7, 19, 24, 25), C-reactive protein(CRP) (1, 8, 9, 19, 21, 22), creatine kinase (CK) (7, 19, 22), percent predicted diffusing capacity of the lung carbon monoxide (DLCO%) (1, 8, 19), PaO2 (3, 8, 19), FVC% (1, 8, 19), RP-ILD (2, 22, 23), erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) (1, 19, 22), white blood cell count (WBC) (19, 22), KL-6 (7, 9), ferritin (≥800 ng/mL) (3, 24), and lymphocyte count (< 1.1×109/L) (24, 26). This evidence concerns the gene MUC1 and dermatomyositis.
