HSPD1 and infection: Regarding histopathological score analysis, although significant differences among the experimental groups were not observed, mice from the Lb/HSP65 group seemed to slightly early increase the inflammation intensity in ear lesions caused by L. braziliensis at 7 weeks of infection, followed by a decline in 8 to 10 weeks post‐infection, whereas the Lb group displayed a later inflammatory intensity response, characterising a chronic infection model (Figure 1E).
