DKK3 and sarcopenia: Integrated RNA‐seq and metabolomic analyses further showed that NTs could cause changes in metabolites by affecting valine, leucine and isoleucine degradation pathways, such as ketoleucine, 3‐hydroxylisovalerylcarnitine and 3‐methyl‐2‐oxovaleric acid, which could further regulate sarcopenia‐related genes (Dkk3, Mt1) and inhibit muscle protein degradation and promote muscle protein synthesis.
