Among the aforementioned senescence biomarkers, COL1A2, COL6A3, CRYGS, LINGO1, LYZ, NPTX2, and RBP4 are known to be associated with age-related diseases such as ARC, dermal aging, and Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases (Hooi et al., 2012; Quan et al., 2021; Savić et al., 2023; de Laat et al., 2015; Sassi et al., 2016; Xiao et al., 2017; Goodman, 2006). This evidence concerns the gene CRYGS and Parkinson disease.
