The pro-metastatic role of TANs via lymphangiogenesis is nevertheless observed in multiple cancers—gastric cancer (CD15+ TANs correlate with nodal metastasis) [46], bladder cancer (circDHTKD1/CXCL5/VEGFC axis; ETV4-CXCL1/8-MMP9/VEGFA axis) [14, 47], and now LUAD (CCL15-CCR1-VEGFC). Here, CXCL5 is linked to urinary bladder carcinoma.
