Laboratory parameters, such as inflammation‐related indicators (e.g., neutrophil‐to‐lymphocyte ratio, platelet‐to‐lymphocyte ratio, aspartate aminotransferase/alanine aminotransferase ratio and γ‐glutamyl transferase levels) and tumour‐related biomarkers (e.g., AFP, AFP‐L3 and protein induced by vitamin K absence or antagonist II) were demonstrated to be indicators of MVI with excellent predictive performance [30]. This evidence concerns the gene AFP and neoplasm.
