Finally, multiplex immunofluorescence staining of representative clinical samples, selected based on extreme ARM scores from transcriptomic data, confirmed these findings at the protein level: tumours with high ARM scores showed denser tumour cell (PanCK+) regions but substantially fewer infiltrating CD4+, CD8+ and CD20+ immune cells, whereas low‐ARM tumours were characterised by abundant immune cell infiltration (Figure 7D).
