Recent studies demonstrated that activation of the cGAS-STING pathway enhances antigen presentation by dendritic cells and stimulates the secretion of chemokines, such as CXCL9 and CXCL10, which recruit CD8+ T cells and NK cells to the tumor microenvironment, thereby enhancing the efficacy of immunotherapy (23–26). This evidence concerns the gene CXCL10 and neoplasm.
