Targeted medications, such as ALK inhibitors or EGFR-TKIs, have demonstrated intracranial efficacy, supporting their use as first-line therapy in NSCLC cases that have BMs with rearrangement of ALK or a mutation of EGFR, either in conjunction with or apart from cranial radiation therapy [33,34,35].
