Li et al. assessed the levels of IgG, IgA, and IgM against EBV gps (gP350, gP42, gHgL, and gB) in serum samples collected from RA and SLE patients and found that RA and SLE patients showed statistically significant increases in the levels of 8 and 11 glycoprotein antibodies, compared to the control group. This evidence concerns the gene CD40LG and rheumatoid arthritis.
