CRP and anemia (phenotype): Laboratory data showed leukocytosis 17,000 cells/μL with neutrophilia, mild normochromic normocytic anemia with hemoglobin 11.2 g/dL, marked inflammatory syndrome with elevated C-reactive protein (CRP) of 180 mg/L, and an erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) of 87 mm/h.
