Three models were developed for the analysis: Model 1 adjusted for age and sex; Model 2 further adjusted for residence, marital status, educational level, smoking, drinking, and obesity; Model 3 included additional adjustments for hyperlipidemia, diabetes, hypertension, systolic and diastolic blood pressure, comorbidities (such as liver disease, chronic lung disease, and chronic kidney disease), hs-CRP, and UA. This evidence concerns the gene CRP and chronic kidney disease.
