The highest AIP tertile (Tertile 3) was associated with a significantly increased risk of peritonitis across all the models, with HRs of 1.230 (95% CI: 1.036–1.461, p = 0.018) in the unadjusted model, 1.309 (95% CI: 1.092–1.569, p = 0.004) in Model 2, and 1.304 (95% CI: 1.088–1.563, p = 0.004) in Model 3. This evidence concerns the gene AIP and peritonitis.
