Significant differences were observed across the three AIP groups for the history of CVD (p = 0.001), the use of ARBs (p = 0.041), SBP (p = 0.001), DBP, age, BMI, primary kidney diseases, diabetes history, the use of lipid-lowering drugs, AIP, and various laboratory parameters, including LDL-C, HDL-C, TG, ALB, calcium, glucose, BUN, UA, and iPTH (all p < 0.001) and Hb (p = 0.041). This evidence concerns the gene GSTM1 and kidney disorder.
