NPPB and Hypertension: The variables used for phenotyping were heterogeneous and included demographic characteristics (age, sex, BMI), cardiovascular and metabolic comorbidities (hypertension, diabetes, atrial fibrillation), laboratory biomarkers (BNP, troponin, inflammatory markers), imaging data (LV mass index, LA volume, E/e’), and functional status (NYHA class, 6 min walk test).
