Several other inherited and somatic diseases have been linked to SETBP1 variants, including SETBP1 haploinsufficiency disorder, Schinzel Giedion Syndrome and some hematological malignancies and cancers in adults [50], and SETBP1 was reported for expression in Yak hair follicles collected at different phases of development [42]. This evidence concerns the gene SETBP1 and Schinzel-Giedion syndrome.
