Histologic quantification further demonstrated that LEF administration significantly suppressed IFN-γ expression levels in lesional skin: The vitiligo model mice exhibited an IFN-γ-positive area ratio of 16.92 ± 0.46%, whereas LEF-treated mice showed only 0.19 ± 0.1% (p < 0.0001; Figure 2B). This evidence concerns the gene IFNG and vitiligo.
