We divided fibroblasts into 13 cell subpopulations based on the gene expression profile (Figure 5A, Supplementary Figure S5A), including five cancer-associated fibroblast (CAF) clusters (CAF_C3, CAF_CXCL10, CAF_MKI67, CAF_MME, and CAF_VEGFA), three fibrocyte clusters (Fibrocyte_CD34, Fibrocyte_PDGFRA, and Fibrocyte_VCAN), two mesothelial cell (MC) clusters (MC_DES and MC_VCAN), two pericyte clusters (Pericyte_CCL21 and Pericyte_TRPC6), and one vascular smooth muscle cell cluster (SMC_IL6). The gene discussed is CD34; the disease is cancer.
