NTN1 and neoplasm: In the context of inflammation-related colorectal cancer [30], metastatic breast cancer [30,162], bladder cancer [163], and liver cancer [164], netrin-1 appears to play a role in promoting tumor cell growth, invasion, and metastasis, etc. Meanwhile, studies have reported that the netrin-1 monoclonal antibody NP137 in endometrial cancer [4] and cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma [5] can not only block the binding of netrin-1 to UNC5b to directly induce cell apoptosis and inhibit tumor cell proliferation but also effectively control the occurrence of EMT in tumors.
