Similar observations were noted by Michailidou et al. [76], who analyzed the expression of IL-1β, IL-8, OAZ, and SAT based on extracellular RNA in a group of patients with early-clinical-stage OSCC (T1N0M0/T2N0M0) and in subjects with oral leukoplakia and dysplasia, i.e., with mild dysplasia and severe dysplasia/in situ carcinoma. This evidence concerns the gene IL1B and cancer.
